Technical Writer
Position Overview:
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality documentation that clearly communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00 AM- 7:00 PM, Onsite
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Key Responsibilities:
User Guide Creation and Maintenance
- Drafting new user guides for software.
- Updating existing user guides for software.
Collaboration and Content Development
- Collaborating with software developers and subject matter experts to create and draft user guides and release notes for software.
Release Notes Documentation
- Drafting and compiling release notes for software following a standardized set of formatting and writing guidelines.
Quality Control and Proofreading
- Proofreading own drafts to ensure a high standard of writing and reduce editorial work needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Mass Communications,Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 6 months of experience as a Technical Writer and/or Content Writer
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to research and present information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free content.
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
- Monthly salary of 21,000php - 25,000php
- New hire bonus of 5,000php
- Risk allowance of 2,000php
