Payroll Associate
Position Overview:
As a Payroll Associate, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the company's periodical payroll and employee last pays, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and company policies. You will also manage the preparation of various reports, including government-related filings, and provide support to employees by addressing payroll-related queries.
Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00AM-7:00PM, Onsite
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Prepare and process the company's periodical payroll in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all employee payments are correct.
Employee Last Pays:
- Process employees’ final pays, ensuring all applicable deductions, benefits, and taxes are accounted for.
Report Preparation and Filing:
- Prepare and maintain relevant payroll-related reports and summaries, including government-mandated reports such as BIR 1601C, 1604CF, and others.
Employee Support:
- Respond to payroll-related employee queries, offering clarification on pay, deductions, and any payroll discrepancies.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure payroll processes adhere to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, maintaining compliance across all payroll functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and government requirements (e.g., BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
- Familiarity with the preparation and submission of BIR Alphalist is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to address employee concerns.
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
- Monthly salary of 20,000php - 25,000php
- New hire bonus of 5,000php
