Offshore Accounting Team Lead
Position Overview:
As an Offshore Accounting Team Lead, you perform a range of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial analysis, and more, using digital tools and communication technologies. Your services will be outsourced to our direct clients where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Work Schedule and Arrangement: Full time In-Office, Graveyard Shift
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Key Responsibilities of an Offshore Accounting Team Lead:
- Team lead is expected to independently take up the task of month end closing of books of the entities.
- He needs to make sure that the different entities handled by different team members also close on time and with accuracy.
- Responsible for the preparation and issuance of Audit Reports, Non-conformances, and Observation Reports on any identified findings and non-conformances to policies and procedures
- Implement the company's audit procedures/manual in the performance of audit functions
- Formulate reports, systems and procedures and recommend controls/measures according to audit findings
- Risk and Controls Assessment
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Requirements:
- Must a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- 5 years of experience in accounting/audit
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, Quickbooks and Google sheets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial standards.
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
Monthly salary of 40,000php - 45,000php (depending on experience)
New hire bonus of 5,000php
