HR Business Partner
MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for a HR Business Partner!
The HR Business Partner will be in charge of ensuring the account’s health by managing administrative tasks such as attendance, violations and performance tracking, along with ensuring that compliance to legal requirements according to the labor standards are followed.
The HR Business Partner supports the HR Manager to streamline the HR functions, reporting on HR metrics, enhancing workforce retention, predicting staffing needs, managing termination processes and disciplinary procedures, managing risk, ensuring staff wellness, and ensuring compliance regulations for the Line of business assigned to.
Work Arrangement: Nightshift, 6:00PM - 3:00AM; Office-based Setup
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee movements, and offboarding
- Oversee attendance monitoring and coordinate timely reporting to key stakeholders
- Manage employee relations by addressing disciplinary concerns and facilitating resolution processes in compliance with company policy and labor standards
- Support compensation and benefits processes by liaising with relevant HR points of contact and ensuring accurate information flow
- Assist in driving employee engagement initiatives and wellness efforts within the assigned account
- Partner with team leaders and operations managers to support team structure, workforce planning, and leadership transitions
- Maintain and organize employee records and documentation to support HR processes and compliance
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop and implement HR strategies, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Psychology (preferably Industrial-Organizational), or any related field
- Strong background in paralegal writing for disciplinary notices and documentation
- Excellent command of the English language — both written and verbal
- Google Workspace Proficiency
- Demonstrated strength in conflict management and resolution, with a high level of professionalism and objectivity
- Proactive communicator with strong time management, task prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- With experience working in a BPO environment as an HR practitioner; must have handled discipline cases, particularly grievance and termination cases
- Experience engaging with foreign stakeholders or clients, including facilitating meetings, coaching sessions, or investigations
- Preferred but not required: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and comfort working with data or case trackers
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
- Monthly salary of 31,000 + performance incentives
- New hire bonus of 5,000
